Closet Organizing Helpers
When it comes to organizing your closet, you might not have all the items that you need handy. A hodgepodge of wire and plastic hangers, for example, leave your newly organized closet still looking like a mess. And wire hangers can be bad for you expensive clothes, causing crease marks, dust lines and fading. We've put together some great closet organizing helpers for you.
Use your imagination for organizing your closet. Use shelf dividers to keep your purses standing up on shelves, hanging shelves to store things like scarves and accessories. Go to the building store and get some thin chain link, a short clothes rod and 4 S-hooks and double hang part of your closet rod to double up on space. Shoes can be hung on racks on the inside of the closet door, or stacked in clear shoe boxes on a shelf. Use an over the door towel rod with some S-hooks on it to hang up purses or your clothes for the next day. Here are some more ideas to get you started.
Keeping your jewelry organized can be a daunting task. Special furniture and boxes help keep it all in it's best shape and from tangling and breaking. I personally have a standing mirror jewelry armoire in my dressing room. It's practical because I need the mirror, a bit safer because no one knows there is jewelry in there, and it is specially lined to keep my jewelry from tarnishing.
Sometimes (oftentimes!) your closet space just isn't big enough to accomodate your (and your spouses, and children's, etc) wardrobe. Storage organization helpers optimize your storage space, but if it's not enough space, nothing is going to help except "outsourcing" parts of your wardrobe into other closets. If you have no other available space you should look to multi-purpose furniture to keep you organized, like benches with drawers or chests. If your space is really small, look at bathroom furniture. It is generally smaller and not as deep as traditional furniture, but will get you sorted, too. Also, looking for kitchen cupboard, especially wall hanging upper cabinets could be your solution. Here are some of our favorites.
