Beth Ditto Plus Size Designer for Evans
Lead singer of the Gossip, Beth Ditto launched her first designer plus size fashion range last year for popular retail chain, Evans. The line was released for the Autumn/Winter collection and is definitely not for the shrinking violets out there.

Beth is famous for her fuller figure, and the fact that she is very proud of her body. She's not the type of person to hide under baggy clothes, and has even posed nude for 'Love' magazine, proudly showing off her 210 pound curves. Her plus size fashion line replicates her personality, with bold prints/patterns and bright colours. It follows all the latest fashion trends, and is ideal for those plus size ladies who wish to show off their gorgeous bodies, and stand out from the crowd. There is a rock edge to the range, and it is very much based on the outfits you see Beth wearing, cute dresses, skirts and sparkly tops, to name but a few. The rock chick was not only heavily involved in the design of the outfits, she also modelled them in many of the marketing photographs.

Although UK based, the range was also shipped to the US, and has received a lot of praise from plus size ladies. It is a great inspiration for us fuller figured ladies to move away from dark colours, and loose fitting designs, and really embrace fashion. Beth also strutted her stuff recently on the catwalk during Paris Fashion week, when she presented top designer, John Paul Gaultier's Spring/Summer creation.

Miss Ditto is a true inspiration to trendy plus size gals, and her line fits in well with the image of Evans, who are famous for their larger sized ranges. It is great to see that a highly respected musician such as Beth is providing such a range for those who are often left behind, when it comes to fashion trends.
